Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for UG Programme
PEO1 Electrical Engineering Graduates will have the ability to identify, analyse, design and solve electrical engineering problems, drawing on a strong foundation of basic sciences, mathematics and electrical engineering.
PEO2 Graduates will have the fundamental and broad knowledge in electrical engineering serving as foundation for life-long learning in multidisciplinary area to enable career and professional growth in top academic, industrial, government and semi-government organizations.
PEO3 Graduates will have the ability to pursue graduate study in specific area of interest and be able to become successful entrepreneur.
PEO4 Graduates will get a well rounded education that includes communication skills, ability to effectively coordinate and contribute as a member of multidisciplinary teams, appreciation of diversity of opinion, consideration of global, societal, environmental and ethical issues in service to the society.

Programme Outcomes (POs) for UG Programme
PO1 Demonstrate the knowledge of mathematics, basic sciences and engineering.
PO2 Design and conduct experiments as well as to analyze and interpret data.
PO3 Design a system, component or process to meet the desired needs with in realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
PO4 Function in multidisciplinary teams.
PO5 Identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
PO6 Understand the professional and ethical responsibility.
PO7 Communicate effectively.
PO8 Demonstrate broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.
PO9 Recognize the need for self-motivation and an ability to engage in life-long learning.
PO10 Acquire the knowledge of contemporary issues.
PO11 Use the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
PO12 Gain knowledge of mathematics through differential and integral calculus, basic science, computer science and engineering sciences necessary to analyze and design complex electrical and electronic devices, software and systems containing hardware and software components as appropriate to electrical engineering.
PO13 Understand electrical engineering problems and apply mathematical, scientific and engineering knowledge to their solutions.

PEO1 Gain well-rounded education that includes communication skills with ability to effectively coordinate and contribute as a member of multidisciplinary team for service to the society.
PEO2 Acquire knowledge of power systems with ability to identify, analyze, design and solve complex and emerging problems of power system engineering.
PEO3 Acquire technical competence and leadership to enable personal and professional growth and to pursue career in broad area of power system engineering globally.
PEO4 Engage in life-long learning through independent study, projects and research.

Programme Outcomes (POs) for PG Programme
PO1 Gain broad education necessary to understand the impact of power engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context and enhance personal and professional growth.
PO2 Acquire in-depth technical knowledge of power systems and be able to apply the same for enhancement of knowledge.
PO3 Analyze complex power system engineering problems and be able to learn and use contemporary tools and technique for solving problems related to power systems and allied areas.
PO4 Integrate knowledge and manage advanced and emerging problems in power systems engineering and related areas.
PO5 Conduct research plan, analyze and articulate research findings through writing and oral presentation.
PO6 Design a system, component, or process to meet the desired needs with realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability and sustainability.
PO7 Function in multidisciplinary teams.
PO8 Communicate effectively.
PO9 Write clearly and to document own work for effective utilization.
PO10 Extract knowledge through literature survey, experimentation, research, computing tools and techniques.
PO11 Recognize the need and engage in life-long learning through independent study, projects and research.
PO12 Acquire professional and intellectual integrity, professional code of conduct, ethics of research and scholarship, consideration of the impact of research outcomes on professional practices and an understanding of responsibility to contribute to the community for sustainable development of society.
PO13 Evaluate critically one???s own action and work and make decisions by considering professional, social and ethical responsibilities.
